Enable Popup Design

Follow the steps below to activate and apply the Popup Design feature for an eyeglass rule:

Enable Popup Design in Settings

  • In the Akeans VisionCare Pro App, click Settings from the app menu.
  • Locate and enable the Popup Design option.
  • Click Save Changes to apply the settings.

Apply Popup Design to a Specific Rule

  • From the Shopify Admin Dashboard, navigate to the left-hand menu and select Akeans VisionCare Pro App.
  • Within the app, go to Eye Glasses > Manage Rules.

  • Locate the rule where you want to apply the popup design and click the Edit icon.

  • In the rule settings, enable the Ultimate Design option.

Outcome of Enabling the Popup Design for Eyeglass Rules

After enabling the Popup Design in the app settings and applying the Ultimate Design option to a specific eyeglass rule, the updated design is reflected on the storefront.

  • When a customer selects a product associated with the configured eyeglass rule, a modern and intuitive popup interface appears.

Enable AI-Powered Prescription Entry

Enable Popup Design in Settings

To activate AI-powered prescription entry in the Akeans VisionCare Pro App, click Settings from the app menu. follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to the Shopify Admin Dashboard and select Akeans VisionCare Pro App, click Settings from the app menu. from the left-hand menu.
  • In the app interface, click on Settings.
  • Locate the AI-Powered Prescription Entry option under the Prescription Settings section.

  • Toggle the switch to Enable the feature.
  • Click Save Changes to apply the update.

Outcome of Enabling AI-Powered Prescription Entry

Once the AI-Powered Prescription Entry feature is enabled, the following enhancements are applied to the storefront and user experience:

  • Customers are presented with an "Upload Prescription" option during the product selection.

  • When a prescription image is uploaded, the system uses AI and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract prescription details automatically.
  • Extracted values such as SPH, CYL, AXIS, ADD, and PD are accurately filled into the corresponding fields, reducing the need for manual input.

This feature is especially valuable for stores that aim to simplify prescription input while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the purchasing flow.

Same Prescription For Both Eyes

Enable the Same Prescription for Both Eyes option to allow customers to automatically apply identical prescription values to both the left and right eyes.

When the Same Prescription for Both Eyes option is enabled:

  • A checkbox labeled "Same Prescription for Both Eyes" appears during the prescription entry process on the storefront.
  • When checked, the system automatically copies the entered values from the right eye (OD) to the left eye (OS).

This feature enhances usability by streamlining the form-filling process, particularly for customers with matching prescriptions.

Upload Your Prescription / Email Later

  • Toggle this option to display a note section for each prescription short description.
  • Use this field to add a summary or label that appears in the prescription section, helping customers understand its purpose quickly.

Prescription Types Short Description? & Prescription Types Short Description

  • Toggle this option to display a note section for each prescription type short description.
  • Add a concise description for each prescription type to provide context or highlight key differences.

Email it to us? & Email it Us Label

  • Toggle this option to display a note section to email us later.
  • Customize the label for the Email Prescription Later option to better align with your store’s communication style.

Upload Files Information? & Upload Files Information

  • Toggle this option to display a note section to upload a prescription.
  • Provide a short message or instruction near the file upload area to guide customers on supported formats or file requirements.

AI Note Information

  • Enter custom notes to explain how AI-powered prescription uploads work or reassure customers about data accuracy and privacy.

These settings allow you to fine-tune the user interface and offer clearer instructions, resulting in a more informed and confident prescription entry experience.
