Activate Prescription App

For App Settings

To ensure the VisionCare Pro Prescription App is active, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Shopify Admin Dashboard, navigate to the left-hand menu and click Akeans VisionCare Pro App.
  2. On the app page, click Settings from the app's navigation menu.
  3. Locate the App Status section.
  4. Confirm that the status is set to Enabled. If the app is not enabled, toggle the setting to enable it.
  5. Click Save Settings to apply the changes.

For Customizer

Enable the App Embed

  • From the Shopify Admin Dashboard, navigate to the Online Store section in the left-hand menu.
  • Under the Theme section, click the Customize button for your active theme.

  • In the Theme Customizer, open the left-hand menu and select App Embeds.

  • Locate the Akeans VisionCare Pro app in the list.
  • Make sure the app is enabled. If it is not, toggle it on.

  • Click Save to apply the changes.

Add the App Block to the Product Page

  • In the Theme Customizer, navigate to Product Pages > Default Product Page.

  • Click Add Section, then go to the Apps tab.
  • Select the Akeans VisionCare Pro block from the list.

  • Drag and position the block where you want it to appear on the product page.

  • Click Save to finalize the changes.

By completing the steps in both the App Settings and Theme Customizer, the VisionCare Pro Prescription App will be fully activated and integrated into your storefront. This setup ensures customers can easily enter prescription details on product pages, delivering a smooth and user-friendly eyewear customization experience.
